I joined Fusion after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Waterloo, a program in which I really saw how technology could impact the world in more ways than just a new app or game. Having completed co-op placements in both research and industry, I have come to learn that the key to enjoying your job is to do work that matters. At Fusion, you have accountability and ownership of the work that you do, which means that everyone cares about their projects and seeks to produce high quality work. As a research programmer, I support consultants in their data collection and infrastructure needs. Everyone works together as a team, and we all have the ability and responsibility to continually improve our deliverables and provide value to our clients. This focus on both strong teamwork and individual responsibility what makes Fusion stand out.
